    When a thread is deleted...

...is there any way that it can just be locked for a bit so we see why it was deleted? Im sorry if this has been discussed before, but it has happened a few times and then never mentioned what happened.

Theoretically yes . . . but if done as a matter of routine, it would add significantly to the mods' workload, so I don't think it's gonna happen.

As you know, we do sometimes simply lock threads that get out of hand, without deleting them.

Thanks for the explanation. I was curious what else was said in the jury duty thread. I assume if it was what I said I would have a PM in my inbox or not be able to log in!

    Thanks.
