Can somebody PLEASE start a Sig info thread?

Glocks have a thread to decode there number-jumbo. Why not the Sigs for those of us that are clueless as to what the P-2whatever means.

Could somebody throw me a frigging bone here?

    cause a 229 could be either a 40 or a 9 but a 220 is always (i think) a .45

    sig 220= .45
    sig 228 = 9mm
    sig 226= 9mm or 40 cal
    sig 229= 9mm or 40 cal
    sig 232= 380
    sig 238= 380
    sig 938=9mm
and sig 225 is a 380 or very rare but i think they have a 225 in 9mm also.
oh ya they also make the 226 and 229 in 357 as well

225 is 9mm. Also known as a P6 in Europe where they got a lot of use as cop pistols.

The P226 is one of, if not the best hicap 9mm pistols ever made.
