    Posting in for sale ads

I can understand needing to make money for the site to keep the servers up, but what i don't get is why do you need to pay to post in someones for sale ad. I think this only hurts the site and steers people away. Allot of people have gone over to other forums such as WAguns for this very reason. I'm not asking for a free handout but any plans to change this?

What is so relevant that needs to be posted there? And even those who can physically are only allowed to so they can ask clarification questions or maybe add additional info if requested. No other reason to do it IMO and no, its not gonna change. Theyve made it clear.

questions that pertain to the item condition, round count, etc. No reason not to be able to post in the thread... How about wanted ads, only paid members can post in those but what if an unpaid member has an iteim wanted? should the paid member suffer for a bad rule?

You still have the ability to contact the seller or buyer inthe case of a WTB ad via private message right?

Having other people post in for sale ads (paying members or people who can't come up with $6 for 90 days membership) just messes up the 3 day bump for sellers, and if left unchecked allows other people to post errorenous information that may harm the sale, which has been done since the membership was tiered.

Plenty of that on other sites where random retards post they saw one for less, or they had one and it's a piece of shit and wouldn't feed out of spec handloads using Promags, or "they'll take it" only to fall off the planet the next day, or posting about other similar weapons they read that had problems but not clarifiying what they're talking about and what the seller has listed for sale arent the same thing.

If you have a question, just PM the person. OR is that too much trouble?

Your not suppose to post in for sale ads. It's in the rules. You are suppose to PM the person and that is free.

    We have a winner!!
There is no reason to post anything in someone elses thread. Just PM them with the needed info. If you think there is info missing that would be of use to other members, PM the guy and suggest he place that info in the ad.
    That simple.
