    Olympia rally???

Not much of a turnout. :(
Only about 200 people showed....that's only twice the number that showed up at the Kirkland rally a couple of weeks ago.
I guess most people are all bark and no bite...
Maybe saving our 2nd amendmendment rights is not as important to most of you as it is to me.

Looks like muddy Oly is not the right place for the rally.
Nobody sees us there. Nobody cares about 200-2000 people staying on a lawn up front of an empty federal building.

Let's move to Seattle. It would be very hard for libs to ignore us there.

How do You think seattle would react to 1000 open carrying citizens? what sort of welcome might we receive? I'm not saying we shouldn't just pondering.

The amazing thing is the capital was actually in session today on the gun control bill and we didn't even know it. We can do better than that.

    Re: Olympia rally???

A couple dozen of us went inside the capital bldg carrying, law enforcement was very pleasant, but we did get some uneasy looks from some of our state senitors. We had the chance to say something strong. What was said was "There are a handfull of people who care". I made the mistake of thinking that Obama actually cared for us, the citizens for these united states, but I was WRONG. I am trying to correct that mistake. I just thought that there were people here who thought action was necessary too. It seems whatever was on tv or at the gun show was more important than preserving our rights. Sorry for not being happy about this....I DO appreciate the fact that at least those who cared showed.

    Re: Olympia rally???

If in a 10k race a person decided that they did "good enough" the first leg of the race, so I might as well rest awhile.......race is lost.
I am unemployed without gas money. Yet I was there. I am not upset for the people that going there would be a hardship, or had to work, didn't go.
I just want people to ask themselves what they want and are they willing to walk the walk...

Exactly my sentiment. Some of us had to work so we can fund politicians, gun groups, etc. Rallies are all well and good but we need to FUND candidates that will get Legislation passed that protects freedom.

I suppose that joining the unemployed ranks would be acceptable so that one could attend the Olympia rally. We all have different ways of expressing our political views to our elected officials. Rally's are just one very visible way. There are many others who less visibly but no less effectively convey their views to our political leaders.
