    Hey Eric, Welcome aboard.
I live in Snohomish, let me know if you have any question about guns, shops, etc.

I just purchased a Glock 21SF from Snake River Arms. It comes to my local FFL on Thursday! I now have my CPL in hand too. Not gonna lie.... Pretty fired up about it!

Congrats on doing that! Make sure you take the time to study the laws in WA State regarding carrying a firearm.

The best general piece of advice is probably to never even present a weapon unless you can see an immediate threat to life. You really don't want to discharge a weapon unless there is a direct threat and danger to life. Seeing a perps weapon would really help with that. It has to stand up in court. So be sure to take the time to study the way things would work.

It's great to see another person taking on this responsibility. If only more would do the same.

Right on. Thanks. I plan to keep it at home mostly. Of course I will take it to the range or an acceptable outdoor area for practice, but I don't see myself carrying until I am REALLY familiar with the laws, etc... It would be cool to know the law as well (and as quickly) as the infamous Youtube video (http://hwww.youtube.com/watch?v=skpfzZ5vz14&sns=em) but not likely for me. I will be taking it hiking at some point - the wife and I ran in to a FREAK when we were out last year. It was pretty disturbing and part of the reason I decided it was time. Thanks for the advice.
