Where to go camping within 100 miles of Seattle-Tacoma?

My little sister and I are taking our first camping trip together in decades this Sunday -Tuesday but have no idea where to go. Only requirements are within 100 miles or so. In a perfect world we would like a place that offers water, views, light hiking and ability to shoot guns but will take any combo. We dont fish but need to build s fire. Pay to park and tougher trails fine since she has a 4dr jeep. Way to find coordinates or exact location helpful as I know nothing and suck at navigation. Thanks.

What you require is unfortunately in another state.

I think most if not all areas have some kind of burn ban in effect. You might want to bring a propane heater or something else as a backup plan.

I really like the area around North Fork Teanaway river road. It is just passed Cle Elum at about 1.5 hours away & 100miles +/-. Lots of trees, great camping spots next to the river, hiking, views etc.... has all your looking for but a fire. Don't think you can currently do that anywhere in WA. I have seen many hunters so I assume shooting is ok but you may need to find an appropriate spot there.
I much prefer it to closer camping spots in the Pass as there seems to be far less mosquitos due to the drier terrain.
    It is truly beautiful country

    Burn ban sucks.
The mileage is a bit more, but Naches.
Along the little Naches / little Naches road.

The Olympics>>> Steel Bridge area or Browns creek area are nice. Burn bans are in affect but you can have a camp fire as long as it has a steel or rock ring around it..

I agree with MrSunday . I have camped alot out the Teanaway. Beverly Creek campground. I think its about ten bucks a night. For that you get Pit toilets and because it has fire pits its one of the last places you can have a fire before they ban them completely. There are a few good hikes out there. If you are camping Sunday to Tuesday I dont think there will be to many other people up there. Check it out on a map and have fun.

Also just head out 410 over Chinook Pass. There are lots of paying camp sites just over the pass and should be lots of free spaces too. But once again no fires.

    Thurston
    County:

    Moderate
    Fire Danger:

Outdoor burning is banned on all forest lands within the State of Washington under Department of Natural Resources fire protection from July 1, 2013, through September 30, 2013, with the exception of fires for recreational purposes in approved fire pits on forest lands within designated state, county, municipal, or other campgrounds west of the Cascade Mountains crest.

Millersvania, shooting near by at the Capitol Forest "Pit". Middle Waddel Creek campground on same road as pit also, it has quad/dirtbike trails. Plus Capitol Forest itself for 4 wheeling.
