What city do you live? Need that to understand what would be 100+/- miles away.

One day I was out driving around for fun in the LC and found a really cool campground called "Kanaskat-Palmer State Park". Most of the park is bordered by the Green River. Lots of place to walk down around the river and hang out. There was even some sandy beach type areas on the banks. I stopped there for lunch and was impressed.

I'm also a HUGE fan of Naches/Manastash area. Each year we go 4x4 in that area up on the ridge and camp at a primitive camp ground in the area.

Kanaskat Palmer is a great spot, I live very close and you can't really beat it for river spots around here

Just camped on the Olympic Peninsula Sunday and Monday, no burn ban had camp fires both nights, Monday was at Dungeness recreation area, nice beach hike (11 mi round trip) to the light house, Olympic game farm is nearby. In park shooting is a little farther away http://seattleguns.net/showthread.ph...-gets-it-right
Gun Problem? ... You mean like when you squeeze the trigger and nothing goes bang... right?
