Promag 50rd drum for 10/22's any good?

Thinking about getting a drum mag for a 10/22 project I'm making but I've heard mixed review on them. Does anyone have / use them?

I concur, I have not had good luck with Promags going through a full mag without at least one misfeed: Ruger mini-14, Ruger 10/22, AR15.

I had Pro mags for my 10/22, and after all three of them failed numerous times, I gave them away.

Good to know, I found someone selling one for $50 but I guess there's a good reason why.

I cant speak about the ones for the mini, but the ones for the 10/22 seem to be more of a novelty item.

I hear they make great targets, I've used some of their AK and AR mags for small knockdown targets.

Anything made by promag is a pile, unless you are into single shots

I own one. It sucks. It's a crap shoot if I can get thru a whole mag without a hiccup. I bought it on a whim just cause.
