If you can't do math, then go do something else and be good at whatever you do. Stop with the sob story about how the world owe you sh!t because you can't figure out x^2+Y^2=Z^2
Funny, when I coached my kid in 1st - 2nd grade where they officially didn't keep score, you could walk up during the game and ask any kid on the team what the score was during the game and THEY KNEW, they absolutely knew what it was.

So this not keeping score is a trained response, like racism. It is not a natural response. Think about that for a while.

Parents need to remember that if they want their child to succeed at school they hold their child accountable for their work and behavior. Parents need to create a positive attitude toward school, education, and higher learning despite the fact that many teachers might not share the same political or other beliefs.

^^^ This. It is not easy sometimes, but always worth keeping with it in the long run. And no, your kids will probably never thank you in the future. But that is not why you do it. You want to do it so your kids are successful adults.

    2. Tough love policies. Sorry, we don't give anything away anymore.
    3. Mandatory sterilization and drug testing for handouts.

It'll suck for a generation, but we'll then get back on track.
I understand your sentiment, but with those in power in both DC and Olympia, pigs will fly in first class and be served cocktails before that happens.

However, with the upcoming currency collapse in the USA caused by the massive continuous deficit spending, many of these solutions will be occurring naturally when the money to pay for handouts doesn't exist any more.

If even a hint of self responsibility was favored by the political class, a lot of these problems would be moderated. Not a chance, of course.
