    Re: SGN Billet Lowers

    Just talked to WMA and they don't carry forged lowers, but we can build at their shop for $50 once we purchase elsewhere. From the brief research I've done, forged lowers are about $80-$100. Tacticle Machining has 30% lowers for $52.00 (out of stock / link below). I'll check to see if we could finish the build with 30% lowers..more to come

    Get the completed price down closer to the current cost of a finished lower ($80-120) and the benefit of an 80% start to justify the cost.

    Re: SGN Billet Lowers

    hasn't Wynakos said you can bring your own 80% lower? what about 308 lowers? it doesn't seem like there's a lot of difference in machining the 308 vs a std AR lower from 80%.

    what about these: http://www.lockestone.com/shop/
    order 3 or more std AR lowers in black for $165 + shipping, add on $40 for the machining at Wynakos, and you have a sweet billet lower for a little over $205 + time + driving. save $20 if you want one raw... so a little over $185+ raw.
    the 308 is offered at $169 +$20 for black +shipping (special until the 11/17)... and if Wynakos offers the same group deal- $40... a sweet billet 308 lower for a little more than $230 + some driving & time. (best price on a 308 lower I've found)

    I'd be in for one of each, if there's enough interest.... obviously, the 308 requires we move soon.

    Aaron- can you see if they'll offer that group deal on the 308 machining?

    Snipers Hide and Area 53 are putting out lowers with the Snipers Hide logo and can be customized with your "handle."

    Re: SGN Billet Lowers

    a 100% 308 from sun devil runs $250 + ship +tax +FFL.... when tactical machining has them, 308's are $229 +++ I see some 308 lowers go across gunbroker for about 220 +++.

    so, a 308 lower with numbers runs about $310-340 delivered and done. a few bucks more give you saleability if/when you want/need to.
