    New member from Everett

Hello everyone. Just joined this forum and wanted to introduce myself.

Like to shoot hand gun and rifle. Grew up in Tillamook, Ore where shooting was a big part of of life there, at least with the people I associated with. Got away from it for a long time living in California as they are not the most friendliest gun state. Moved to Everett four years ago and have gotten back into shooting.

    Calibers: 45 ACP, 22LR, 30-06, so far.

The 30-06 is on order. I have just placed an order for a MI Garand. Use to own one some years ago and have been wanting to replace it for some time. Looking forward to receiving it and heading to the range. In my opinion, one of the best military weapons every produced. Only down side is they are heavy.

    Re: New member from Everett

Thank you everyone. Looking forward to participating and sharing on the forum. Will have plenty of time over the next four days to get up to speed on things. Nice part is, this forum functions much the same as others that I am on so shouldn't be a major problem there.

Thanks for the links, a friend on another forum had sent me to that link as well. Actually, that is how I ended up joining as I was unable to access. After wondering around realized I would be staying.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

The Garand being heavy might be on the upside as well. Should make the recoil feel better.
