    Misplaced Texan and PT

    Hey guys,

James here, as the title suggests I moved here from central Texas last October and am trying to get settled in with some like minded people. I am a physical therapist out in Snoqualmie, I live in Issaquah, and I shoot at Snoqualmie Valley Rifle Club.

My main interest is predator and/or invasive species hunting. Did a lot if hog hunting in Tx but have shifted my focus to coyotes here. I have also just recently started reloading for rifle. I bought a Browning BAR Longtrac in 30-06 a couple weeks ago that is my new pride and joy! Developing a load for her now.

Seems like a great forum, shame I didn't find you guys sooner! If anyone would like to go shoot, or hunt, or anything else I am always interested, but rarely available. I do always have Mondays off, but rarely have Saturdays.

Let me know how y'all are doing and thanks for making such a great place to hang out online. :)

Welcome, I am another misplaced Texan. Washington is a very different State. There are things here that will make you beat your head against a wall. However, the summers are a lot more mild and the women are less lady like. Coyote hunting is a lot of fun, especially on the east side. Get yourself a nice .223 cal rifle for them as an 06 may be much.

Everything happens for a reason. But sometimes the reason is that you're stupid and you make bad decisions.

Welcome! Most importantly I'd like to say, Go Cowboys! Glad ya found us, this is a great community. As far as your shooting habits, I may have a suggestion. Granfed its not firearms related, but bowfishing is a growing sport. The Asiatic Carp is a non native super invasive fish. Sticking them with a bow is very rewarding. May be worth looking into.

Welcome I am native Washantonian who spent a bit of time down around the Plano area of Texas. Glad you found us. I have weird schedules and maybe if I get a Monday off we can go let off a few rounds. I have a gravel pit just 5 minutes from my home.
