    Another new guy

Hey yall, just signed up, trying to wiggle my way into the shooting community. I'm new to the sport, trying to learn as I go, I moved here to Washington from new York where they don't like things that go bang. So after being here for 9 yes I decided to exercise my 2nd ammendment.

I now have a smith m and p and just finished my are build, now I just need to find a place to zero her out to 100yrd which in the Everett area is hard to do I've found.

Anyways, just wanted to say HOWDY, talk to yall later....

Check out the Everett Sportsman Club

Should suit your needs to sight in the ar at 100 yards.

    And Welcome to SGN.

Thanks, I've looked at it a few times, but I noticed they have a "one round at a time" rule, seems silly too me, and I guess it's to discourage jack offs from bump firing.

Let's say a load a mag and control my firing, are they still gonna know, and will they say anything if I'm being responsible?

Hard to shoot a 5 round group when sighting in if I gotta keep moving the rifle to load one round at a time....

Again I'm a noob shooter, so maybe I don't understand why they even have that rule, and from what I understand about sighting in a weapon, u want to shoot 3 to 5 round groups to get and ever age of where the gun is aimed...or am I wrong there too?

Marysville Rifle Club has Public Shoots on Thursdays ($10 or $15, Can't recall) Members are not restricted to single shot per mag, and I'm sure the range master would put the clamp on bump fire, but as far as I know there is no round limit to the Public either. Common sense is the order of the day.

You can get a gimmick that facilitates single fire for your AR. It's called a bobsled.

Awesome, from what I gather the bcg locks back after each round? Now that there is a slick deal, and keeps the range master a happy camper, lol

RFGC has the 1 round rule also. I have found, however, if one multiple loads a mag and takes time between shots, the 1 round rule slips by. I am not encouraging rule breaking mind you, just an observation. YMMV

I am in earnest, I will not equivocate, I will not excuse, I will not retreat a single inch, and I will be heard.
